According to the index, Bangladesh scored 95 out of 100 marks. Got full marks in three out of five categories. These include technical capabilities, organizational skills, and collaboration and coordination. Among the remaining two categories, Bangladesh scored 19.52 out of 20 in capacity development and 17.44 in legal action.

In Bangladesh, BGD e-Gov CIRT takes care of this cyber security issue. Due to the efforts of the CIRT team, Bangladesh has moved from the middle position to the top of the ITU GCI Report 2024 fifth edition.
